Toseland has changed careers from motor racing to rock n roll singer. A change that really fits! During the BSB weekend at Brands Hatch, we were treated at night with a killer performance from his band.
TOSELAND
Since 2006 I have been a fan of James Toseland. Seeing him race in the pouring rain on a Dutch track for a Dutch team made me, for some reason, an instant fan. From then on I saw him become a double World Champion in the World Superbikes, make the switch to MotoGP and back to WSBK. Unfortunately, an injury meant his career in racing was over.
My dad introduced me to racing, but growing, he also was always listening to rock. So when Toseland made the switch to music, we both were hooked from day one. So far he released one album and an EP and they sound great.
LIVE AT BRANDS HATCH
Such a thrilling racing track as Brands Hatch might not be the first pick for a concert, but tonight Toseland rocked the circuit. With a big crowd turning up, it was a great time.
The band released their debut album earlier this year called Renegade and have been performing all over Europe to support its release. I really enjoy this album as it has some killer riffs, awesome vocals and a perfect hard rock sound. Some of my favourite songs are Life is Beautiful, Crash Landing and Burning the System.
Live it sounded awesome and I had a great time! It is one of my first concerts and I really hope to catch more in the future. Check out Toseland, as I think they sound awesome and deserve all the recognition.
