Throughout the entire 15-minute race plus one lap, a group of 7 riders battled for the podium positions. This fight was ultimately won by the 3rd, 4th, and 5th place finishers from yesterday. Jarno Kausch #41 showcased his good form by clinching the victory after a 3rd place finish on Saturday, with once again the smallest possible margin of 0.018 seconds ahead of Patrik Pullkinen #114. Race control and a finish photo had to be consulted because the difference was so minuscule (see the photo of the finish). The final podium spot went to Filip Salac #4, trailing the winner by 0.230 seconds. Yesterday’s winner and pole sitter Kevin Orgis #44 couldn’t repeat the feat. Missing the podium in race 2 by 0.035 seconds.

2. Patrik Pullkinen #114 – FIN
3. Filip Salac #4 – CZE
While all riders could finish their race without issues yesterday, today unfortunately saw 2 riders crash out, Dominik Stefanowski #98 and Adolfo Delgado #19, but both were okay. Special attention this weekend was on Moriwaki rookie Jaron Nooren #7. At Oschersleben, it was only his 3rd time riding a Moriwaki. His best time in the first free practice on Saturday was 1:53, but he finished his 2nd race with a personal best time of 1:46!
The next race of the Moriwaki 250 Junior Cup will be at the famous Brand Hatch circuit in England during a round of the British Superbike, so keep an eye out for updates on our Facebook page.
