Today, the Moriwaki 250 Junior Cup arrived in Germany for the races at Oschersleben. The schedule included: 1 free practice, 2 qualifications, and race 1.

QUALIFYING

During the first qualifying session, it was dry, and just like in the 1st free practice, Kevin Orgis #44 was the fastest man. With only a 0.1-second gap behind, Patrik Pullkinen #114 followed, and the third man was Filip Salac with a gap of only 0.3 behind the second man. However, the weather was a bit less favorable in Q2, so there were few changes. Pullkinen took the pole ahead of Salac and Jarno Kausch. Kevin Orgis was moved back three places because he trained here earlier this week.

CLOSE VICTORY FOR ORGIS

Race 1 once again proved that the Moriwaki 250 Junior Cup provides close racing at its finest. After a breathtaking race, the top seven finished within 0.9 seconds of each other. After numerous position changes at the front, Kevin Orgis #44, despite being moved back three places on the starting grid, managed to clinch the victory. Patrik Pullkinen #114 couldn’t convert his pole position and finished just outside the podium. Jarno Kausch #41 converted his strong performance in QP2 into a third-place finish.

However, he had to yield to the strong-riding Sander Kroeze #36, who took second place by the smallest possible margin, only 0.017 seconds behind Kevin.

All riders finished without crashes, allowing all young talents to gather tomorrow, after a good night’s rest, at 9:00 a.m. for the warm-up and for race 2 at 11:25. So, stay tuned and follow us on Facebook.
