Next to Nordval we were also selling other smart home electronics. As part of my marketer job at a Dutch importer, I was creating some of the marketing materials.
HIPCAM
Hipcam is a manufacturer and developer of security cameras designed for personal home security. The smart security cameras can be used in- and outdoors and are fitted with an LCD touch screen. Allowing for two-way audio and video calls, monitor baby’s and so much more. The Hipcam products ensure that your home is always safe and monitored.
It was interesting working on this product, as it was the first time that we actually imported smart home products. As in my usual way of working, I started trying the product out first to see how it works and what could be some key-things I would notice that could come in handy when writing the product text. It was a very easy product, and it made it so much easier to write my product text about.
Once I finalized the different texts for the products, it was time for the manual. It was important to have the manual translated to Dutch as well, as that was the main market we were working with. We sold the product via the bigger Dutch resellers, but for us, it was a smaller brand, for which we didn’t do any promotion.
EVERYBOT
Everybot develops the service robot platform based on the autonomous mobile solution and offers dual spin mopping robots. The brand is known for their minimalist designs and maximized performance. Experience the powerful mopping performance with the Everybot products.
This product was really more of a try-out for us. In fact, we kept it very simple and only redesigned and rewrote the manual.
