The Dutchman Victor Steeman wins his very first Moriwaki 250 Junior Cup race on English soil, in a race which best can be described as hectic and dramatic. Snetterton delivered some class act racing. As part of the British Superbikes the Moriwaki 250 Junior Cup had an eager crowd that was ready for some racing action.
Under a soft sun the young riders were starting for a 10 lap race and also this time it was Kevin Orgis who takes the lead. He was in front of Peetu Pavilainen, Meikon Kawakami and Leon Orgis. Peetu Paavilainen lost the front of his bike while battling for first and that unfortunately was the end of his race at Snetterton.
Leon Orgis fights his way up and was second behind his brother Kevin and then it went all wrong for the brothers. Both brothers were, independent of each other, going down in the same corner and their race ended in the gravel.
Meikon Kawakami was leading the race with 6 seconds advantage on the haunting group with Koers, Steeman, Doorakkers, Kroeze and Tatay. However, Kawakami went off with a massive highsider and also Ruben Doorakkers went off. Steeman took the lead and didn’t give it away and so he wins his very first Moriwaki race. Quentin Koers takes second in front of Carlos Tatay.
Sander Kroeze was 4th in front of Lukas Franke, Jeroen Hilster, Selina Liebschner, Jaron Nooren, Shane Faber, Sophia Liebschner and Isaac van Dijk.
Next race is at Brands Hatch, Great Brititain on the 17th till the 19th of July 2015.
