My first job since moving to Israel was as an SEO Manager in the heart of Tel Aviv. It was a great opportunity to combine writing, design with the optimization of the many websites I was taking charge over. I was working in this field between December 2020 till November 2022.
WHAT IS SEO
Search Engine Optimization is a digital marketing approach aimed at improving a website’s visibility on search engines. By optimizing on-page elements like content and meta tags, and off-page factors such as backlinks and social media presence, SEO helps boost a site’s organic search rankings.
The goal is to enhance relevance and credibility, driving targeted traffic. Successful SEO requires continuous adaptation to search engine algorithms and industry trends, ensuring sustained online visibility and competitiveness.
MY ROLE AS SEO MANAGER
As the sole SEO manager at the company, I was responsible for creating and executing different strategies to successfully rank in various regions. My speciality lay in finding small niches and dominating these against the big sites.
What I loved during this job was the versatility of it. I was working hard managing our writers, translators and web designers to keep making new content. Developing our websites to money making machines.
During my time at this company, I was able to:
- Planning and executing SEO plans successfully;
- Working with many writers, translators and link builders to create a success story out of the websites I run;
- Write my own website content and see it hit #1 in the Google rankings;
- Design all the logos for the different websites.
