During my time with Ten Kate Motoren, a small part of my job was to write a few product information text for their online store. This would help the customer to make a decision on which item they should buy. Read a few of these texts down below.
PRODUCT TEXT TEN KATE
Ten Kate Motoren might be best known for it’s racing success in the World Superbike and World Supersport. However, in the Netherlands it is also a big motorcycle store, workshop, and clothing department. I worked for several years in the clothing department selling anything from helmets to suits, communication and more.
Every once a while I would be asked to write some product texts for the online store, and I was more than happy to do this. Please find below just three of these product texts:
Macna Hyper leather overall
The sleek, stylish design and good fit make Macna Hyper a popular overall!
The Macna Hyper is specially designed for the sportive motorcycle rider. With influences from the MotoGP and World Superbike, the Hyper is ideal for both track and street use. The leather overall is made of cowhide (1.2 mm thick) and contains dynamic stretch panels that give the suit a good fit. The dynamic stretch panels are found on both the arms, the crotch and the calves. In addition, the suit makes use of accordion stretch on the back and elbows, which just adds a little more stretch.
- Made of bovine leather with a thickness of at least 1.2 mm
- Multiple dynamic-textile stretch parts to create more freedom of movement
- Advanced accordion stretch panels on the back and elbows. This makes the suit a perfect fit for the track
- Safe Tech CE protection on the knee, shoulder and elbow. The back is CE back protector prepared
- Kneesliders are delivered with this suit. The knee sliders are replaceable and are attached to Velcro, which allows you to place them on your suit
- Hump on the back of the suit. This provides additional aerodynamics during riding
Macna Westcoast Denim hoodie
Bring style and safety together with this urban Westcoast hoodie!
The Macna Westcoast is a motorcycle jacket that fits completely in the current street scene. Its vintage urban look fits perfectly with casual motor jeans and a pair of motor shoes. The Westcoast denim contains Safe Tech protection on the shoulders and elbows. The hoodie is also prepared for an optional CE back protector. In addition, the hoodie has extra Kevlar reinforcement on the back, elbows and shoulders.
- Made of a mix of denim and cotton
- Abrasion resistant Kevlar Dupont inserts on all abrasions, including shoulders, elbows and back

Macna Apex gloves
The apex is a true sport glove for the sport rider!
The Macna Apex is a leather motor glove designed for the sport motorcycle rider. When you’re wearing the glove, you can feel the influences from the MotoGP and World Superbikes. For example, the glove has Carbon knuckle protection as well as finger and palm protection. The Apex glove is made up of a combination of goat and cow leather. In addition, the Apex contains many stretch parts on the fingers and thumbs, which ensures maximum comfort. The preformed finger construction and Velcro cuff closure make the Apex a comfortable glove for a good price!

- Ergonomic thumb, which content includes the leather of thumb and index finger 1 for more wearing comfort
- R.I.S.C. Carbon protection on the knuckles for maximum safety
